Design Challenge: Belgian yacht manufacturer Zeydon challenged DesignworksUSA to create a design for their Z® series 60-foot class premium performance cruisers. Zeydon wished the crusiers’ new design to make a unique and compelling statement that represents Zeydon’s progressive approach to sailing.

Design Solution: A yacht with a formidable performance-oriented exterior and a spacious lounge-like interior. DesignworksUSA depicted Zeydon’s core brand values of innovation, performance, functional and no-nonsense design, comfort, reliability, and premium quality down to the last detail. The Zeydon Z60 combines the sailing performance potential of an offshore racing yacht with an uncompromising range of equipment features and the elegance of a modern pleasure cruiser. The design incorporates both impressive sailing speeds and luxurious accommodations, merging the contrasting desires of sailors into an innovative interpretation of the traditional yachting experience.

Eye-catching in any port, this design guarantees a unique sailing experience. Regatta-oriented functionality and effortless handling are combined with a generously designed deck area incorporating features usually found only on much larger yachts. The remarkable concept is also distinctively accentuated by the dynamic form and exiting gesture of the hull and superstructures.
