How Far Will You Go?
Design Challenge: To create an interactive experience that reflects the quality and authenticity of the adidas brand.
Design Solution: Performance. Dynamics. Authen-
ticity. These are brand attributes that Designworks-
USA knows a lot about. We applied this unique knowledge to the design of a CD-ROM for adidas International.
Making the information available in 5 languages, we integrated the multimedia testimonials of over 30-featured athletes, with full descriptions of the cutting-edge technologies behind the EQUIPMENT line of apparel and footwear. Capturing the dynamism of the brand, we designed a unique interactive environment navigated with a designed cross-hair cursor that allows the user to select from over 50 videos, text and images of the featured adidas athletes.
Our goal was to translate the brand into the exper-
ience. To make information access feel like the process of discovery, in the same way an athlete might discover new ways to push their limits. Our expertise combined with an in-depth knowledge of performance-oriented brands made this project a truly successful one.
