Design Challenge: After working with Grammer Office for many years on their market driven products, they asked us to design a concept study for a high end task chair based on their revolutionary seating mechanism named Glide-Tech. ™

Design Concept Solution: Based on Grammer Office ergonomic investigation of working patterns and relieve of stress to the spine and the intervertebral disc we have created an innovative design concept emphasizing 3 seating positions: Working, thinking, relaxing. The Grammer Office Glide-Tech ™ mechanism increases the comfort level up to two times compared to regular seat mechanisms.

The design concept study integrates multiple new adjustment features such as headrest, backrest length, seat angle and seat length, gel padded self-adjusted lumbar support, etc..The innovative glide mechanism design visualizes the seat motion around a virtual pivot point. Light visible structures shows built-up of all essential elements.
