The Landscape Forms Metro40 collection has been chosen as one of two Best of Category winners in the Furniture category for the 2010 ID Magazine Design Competition. And, the BAVARIA Cruiser 55 was chosen as an Honorable Mention Winner for the 2010 ID Magazine Design Competition in the transportation category.

DesignworksUSA was recognized with five Red Dot Product Design 2010 awards for HP Halo Collaboration Suite, HP Z800 Workstation, Pado Door puller, Pado Motorcycle lock, and Thermaltake Level 10 Gaming Station. This year approximately 1,636 companies from 57 countries have taken part in the Red Dot Product Design 2010 competition with a total of 4,252 entries, and have presented the internationally renowned expert jury with a difficult task. In the end, only the very best from the field of the top-class participants were selected.

DesignworksUSA was recognized with three iF Product Design Awards for the BAVARIA Cruiser 55, HP Z800 Workstation, and Thermaltake Level 10 Gaming Station. This year 778 products have been awarded. Close to 2,500 products from more than 1,000 contestants submitted from 39 different countries, competed for a coveted iF product design award.

A first time design collaboration between BMW Group DesignworksUSA and audio specialist Sennheiser has given life to three new ranges of earphones. All three were revealed at the International CES Exhibition in Las Vegas on January 7, 2010, where CX 680 received an International CES Innovations Design and Engineering Awards Honoree title.
